Every time validation or coupon barcodes are generated in the Validation portal, it constitutes a "batch". Flash Admin portal users can access batch information to view the following details through a report or the Validation Coupon Seach tab. The
- Batch number
- Batch generated date and time
- Associated Validator / Dept
- Name of Coupon / Validation
- Total number of coupons or validations generated in the batch
- Total number burned (Search tab only)
- Total number expired (Search tab only)
Flash Admin portal users can access individual coupon and validation barcode information to view the following details:
- Batch Number: Linked Batch #
- Burned At: Used date and time (if applicable)
- First/Last Name: Validator who printed the batch
- Ticket: The ticket number to which the barcode was applied. (if applicable)
- Value: Discounted amount (if applicable)
- Type: Dollars, Time, or Percentage
Printed Validation and Coupon Audit report
The Printed Validation and Coupon Audit report provides batch data with a selected date range of when the validations or coupons were printed.
View Barcode Activity
1. Go to https://portal.flashvalet.com and log in to the Admin Portal.
2. Select the Locations tab on the left menu and choose a location.
3. Click the Coupon and Validation Search tab from the top menu.
Enter the individual barcode reference number into the Coupon or Validation barcode field to view barcode activity.
Once a barcode is used it's considered burned. Do not make copies of validation/coupon barcodes, subsecquent uses are not allowed.
Void Batches
In the event validations or coupons are generated in error, the generated validation barcodes can be voided to prevent use and reimburse funds for prepaid validation accounts. Only Printed Validation and Coupon barcode batches can be voided. Any tickets that have been electronically validated can’t be reversed.
1. Go to https://portal.flashvalet.com and log in to the Admin Portal. 2. Select the Locations tab on the left menu and choose a location. 3. Click the Coupon and Validation Search tab from the top menu. 4. Input the Batch Number for the batch of validations to void. | |
5. Check the box next batch number and select Void. The system will display any barcodes that were used (burned) or have already expired. |
Void Prepaid Validation Batches
1. Go to https://portal.flashvalet.com and log in to the Admin Portal. 2. Select the Validation Accounts tab and choose a prepaid validator account. 3. Select the Transaction History tab from the top menu. | |
4. Select the Batch Number of the validation batch to void. | |
5. Allow the system to redirect to the Coupon and Validation Search page. 6. Check the box next to the batch to Void. | |
