Blackout Dates

Follow steps below to apply a blackout for specific date/s:

  • Log in to the ParkWhiz Seller Console

  • Identify and click the location in ParkWhiz Seller Console where you want to add/update the blackout dates.




  • Go to Pricings

  • Click Reservations

  • Click Transient

  • Click the pricings affected by the blackout period.

This needs to be done one by one per pricing

For example: Blackouts for a whole day on Mar 30, 2023 (Thursday)




  • Scroll down to Blackout Dates to add the blackouts.

  • The system reads 12:00am as 00:00 or the first minute of the Day. 

  • If blacking out for the whole day, set it up to 12am to 12am the next day. 

  • You have the option to type the blackout dates or choose from the calendar.

  • The Notes section is not required.

  • Scroll down and click on  Save Changes

  • When saved, the blackout dates will reflect on the pricing as follows:




Skip this step if the location does not have event pricings.

  • Check and pause any active event pricing that falls within the blackout period.

    • Go to Event

    • Click on the checkbox next to the Event Name.

    • Click Edit.




  • Under Sales Options, click Pause Pricing 



  • The event pricing is greyed out once the pause is successful.

Note that if the event pricing is NOT paused, the location will still be available at the event rate during the event times.
