ENHANCEMENTS

Store & Forward with Windcave EMV

The kiosk code has been updated to support Windcave’s Store and Forward functionality. While this feature is now available within the kiosk, two additional requirements must be met at the location:

1. The Windcave Windows service must be enabled to support offline functionality.
2. The client must opt into using offline mode through Windcave, and three threshold settings need to be configured and pushed to each device.

• Offline Amount Max – Maximum amount of value allowed per card. 
• Offline Max Minutes – Maximum minutes device is allowed to remain offline. 
• Offline Max Transactions – Maximum number of transactions allowed to be stored per terminal.

Windcave Declined Card Message Update 

If the card issuer does not permit offline transactions the Flash kiosk will present a message “Try another Card” rather than the previous system message – “Card Declined”

Allow PARCSAccess to work with Generic Barcode Parking Account

The PARCS Access module is now compatible with the Generic Barcode Parking Account feature. Previously these two options could not be configured concurrently under the same location.

Valet App to Automatically Load Portal Changes for Default Price Changes
A queue message is now being sent to valet devices to automatically trigger the “load portal changes” action whenever a new default or selected price change occurs.

FIXES 

Coupon Use Increasing Parking Fee

Resolved an issue of coupons applied via POF increasing the parking fee on a Flash PARCS Transient ticket rather than providing a discount. 

Coupons not showing Expired/Used in Admin Portal 

The Coupon and Validation Search tab in the Flash Admin portal has been updated to address an issue where coupons were not displaying a “Burned At” value, even though they had already been used, expired, or voided.

ParkWhiz QR and BLE Not Functional on FlashPARCS Version 4.0 

Resolved an issue of Monthy parkers not being able to use the ParkWhiz BLE or QR code access option when the kiosk was updated to 4.0. 

Support Call/Pressing 5 Not Vending Gate When Ticket in Chute

Resolved gate vend issue of pressing 5 during a support call was not vending the gate when a paper ticket was in the printer chute. 

Membership Transactions Tab Reporting Multiple Debits For One Exit

Resolved an issue in the Membership Transactions tab to show a transaction only once. 

EOD Summary Fix

Resolved an issue that previously prevented the EOD summary feature from being enabled.

Windcave Report Discrepancy 

Resolving an edge case issue where we did not show all transactions in reports if the Safety Loop was armed during the authorization of a payment.

PARCS Version 4.0.1.71 App Freezing After Arming Loop Triggered

Corrected an application freezing issue on Version 4.0.1.71 that occurred when the Arming Loop was triggered. 

Windcave Refunds Failing

The issue causing refunds to fail with Windcave has been resolved.
