AUTOMATIC CAPACITY / AUTO OPEN FULL
The "Automatic Capacity with Auto Open Full" setting is a feature that automatically changes the status of a parking facility to "Full" once it reaches a certain capacity threshold. This feature is designed to help operators manage the number of vehicles in a parking facility more efficiently. It allows them to control and update the occupancy count of the facility quickly through the Admin Portal. Users of the Flash Valet iOS app can also see the updated count to stay informed about parking availability.
The kiosk will display one of the statuses below.
- Open: Open to ALL Parkers.
- Full: Closed to Transient parkers. Open to Monthly and valid eParking reservation.
Adjust the Actual Count
The Current Count displays the number of tickets issued at that point in time. The Actual Count can be manually edited to exceed or decrease the Current Count. The current count adjustments are viewable in the Flash Valet app. To adjust the actual count, follow the steps below.
Reducing the Actual Count soft closes the oldest entries first.

Parker Options when the Facility is Full
When the facility is Full, the kiosk displays "Full" and the kiosk gate arms will not open to allow transient parkers into the facility, dispatchers can offer transient parkers two options:
- The parker cannot take a ticket and must back out of the lane.
- The parker can take a ticket and must exit the facility immediately (this option is used when the physical space in the lane does not allow for the parker to back out).
Automatic Capacity with Auto Open Full is not compatible with Prepay Mode. Prepaid tickets do not trigger the Full status when capacity is reached.
