Flash PARCS: Kiosk Microphone

Modified on Thu, 2 Nov, 2023 at 12:31 PM

OVERVIEW

The microphone, also commonly referred to as intercom, allows the parker to talk to the Operator Support Line. Depending on how your kiosk is configured, it plugs into either a USB sound card or an audio splitter.

TROUBLESHOOT THE MICROPHONE

If the microphone isn’t working correctly, follow the steps below until the issue is resolved.

1. Ensure the connections from the microphone to the audio devices are secure. Kiosks have either a USB sound card or an audio ground isolator and audio splitter.

2. If your kiosk has a USB sound card, ensure it’s connected securely to the USB slot on the Flash Controller.

3. If the issue continues, contact Flash Support.
