PARCS

Express Pay

Powered by ParkWhiz and Enforcement

  • PARCS: Parkonect and Flash PARCS
  • LPR: Vision
  • Digital Payments: ParkWhiz
  • Compliance: Flash Enforcement

These combined technologies create a robust and seamless parking solution for both drivers and operators, enhancing convenience, security, and efficiency.

How it Works

  • DRIVE IN: Cameras scan license plates and automatically open the gate for autopay users.

  • PARK: Drivers scan a QR code or tap a text link to claim their session. If enrolled in autopay, no action is required.

  • DRIVE OUT: Cameras verify session details, automatically open the gate, and charge the card on file.

Express Pay provides a seamless, contactless way to pay for parking at PARCS-controlled facilities. To initiate Express Pay, drivers scan a displayed QR code, leading them through a web-based sign-up process.

After creating a ParkWhiz account and saving a credit card, the driver’s license plate becomes the user's credential, allowing for automatic payment upon exit.

During enrollment, users can choose between:

  • One-Time PaymentProvides the Express Pay experience for a single session, with automatic payment at exit.

  • Autopay – Enrolls the license plate, granting automatic entry and exit at all Express Pay locations. Gates auto-vend based on license plate recognition, and payment is processed automatically—no need to scan QR codes or sign up again!

See the Express Pay Enrollment guide for more details

Once enrolled, a digital ticket is provided with the following details:
  • QR code to use on PARCS peripherals
  • Option to apply validation

The driver exits the parking facility and the credit card on file will be charged for the parking duration.

For returning Express Pay users enrolled in autopay, the gates will automatically open when their registered license plate is recognized—no need to stop or scan.

Upon entry, drivers will also receive an automatic text message confirming their session has started, along with a link to view their digital parking ticket.

If a driver has used Express Pay before but didn’t enroll in autopay, they can easily start a new session by scanning any displayed Express Pay QR code—their information is already saved for a quick, hassle-free experience.

All payments processed through the Express Pay platform are subject to digital payment fees, which are passed on to the driver. This ensures that the payment process remains seamless while covering the costs associated with digital transactions.
