Applying Booking Restrictions to Transient Rates

Modified on Tue, 7 Jan at 1:05 PM

The pricings tab in the ParkWhiz Seller Console includes a feature which will limit how far in advance transient pricing can be booked. Any members on the seller account with the ability to adjust pricing can modify this setting.

Instructions

Step 1: Select the pricing tab in The Seller Console

Step 2: Select the rates where you want to apply the booking restriction

Step 3: After selecting the rate, scroll down to the section labeled Sales Options. Under Sales Options, click the box next to the option labeled Restrict when customers can book this pricing

Step 4: Two fields will appear after clicking Restrict when customers can book this pricing. The first line, "Pricing must be booked at most ___ hours before the booking start time" limits how many hours in advance customers can purchase parking at this rate. The second line, "Pricing must be booked at least ___ hours before the booking start time" restricts customers from purchasing parking for immediate use.

Note: the restriction is set in hours. For example, to set a 60 day restriction where parking cannot be purchased more than 60 days before the start time on the pass, this value would be set at 1440 which is the number of hours in a 60 day timeframe.

Note: leave the field blank if you do not want to apply one of the restrictions.

Step 5: After making the desired adjustment scroll down and click save changes
