BULK PRINTING VALIDATIONS AND COUPONS IN FRENCH

Flash PARCS now supports bilingual English and French printing for validations and coupons through the Validation Portal. This enhancement is available for all locations and helps locations in Canada comply with Bill 101, the Charter of the French Language.

Validations and coupons can be bulk printed in two formats:

• Individual sheets with one barcode per page with instructions.
• Barcode sheets with up to 10 barcodes per page with instructions using the Avery 5963 template.

All printed materials now include bilingual instructions to better support French-speaking customers.

The English/French print option is available by default in the Validation Portal. No additional configuration is required. All other format selections remain in English/Spanish.

How to Print Validations or Coupons in French

1. Log in to the Validation Portal using a Validator account.
2. Go to the Print Validation/Coupon tab.
3. Click Print Validation or Print Coupon.
4. For validations, select a Validation Price from the drop-down menu.
5. For coupons, choose a Coupon from the drop-down menu.
6. Scroll to the Bulk Printing section.
7. In the Bulk Type drop-down, select either:
   • Individual – EN/FR (prints one per sheet with scan instructions)
   • Avery 5963 – EN/FR (prints up to 10 per sheet using Avery template)
8. Enter the Number to Print.
9. Click Print – a PDF with bilingual English/French instructions will open in a new tab.

Notes

Bulk printing validations in French is not available in the Flash (Hotel) App. This feature is only supported through the Validation Portal.
