Flash PARCS: System Alerts

Modified on Mon, 11 Dec, 2023 at 6:37 PM

Flash PARCS sends automated email alerts to a specified list of recipients. This article defines all the system alerts and explains how to view alert recipients.

All alert emails are sent from [email protected].

System Alerts

You may receive any of the alerts below:

  • Low Paper: Sent when the system detects a low amount of receipt or ticket paper. This alert contains reordering information. If the paper on an entry kiosk runs out completely, the system will remove the Get a Ticket button and only allow ticketless entry options (credit card entry and mobile number entry) until more paper is loaded.

  • Low cash in recycler: Sent when an individual recycler is low on bills. This alert identifies which denomination needs to be replenished.

  • Full: Sent when the cash box is full and needs to be emptied.

  • Bill Jam: Sent when a bill jam is detected in the cash machine. The alert specifies where in the machine the jam was reported.

  • Proper cash removal: Sent when any cash removal actions are taken on a cash machine and proper steps are followed in the cash management tool.

  • Improper cash removal: Sent if the cash box is removed without going through the proper steps in the cash management tool.

  • Disconnect: Sent when the system does not detect an internet connection for three (3) minutes. This disconnect alert is sent if the attempt to connect to the back-up line fails. The back-up cellular modem activates within two (2) minutes of detecting the primary line down.

  • Refunds: Sent immediately after a refund is processed.
