VISION TELEMETRY REPORTS
The Vision portal can be accessed by navigating to https://vision.flashos.com/. This portal serves as the central hub for managing and reviewing LPR events, encounter details, and system reports.
Telemetry reports provide crucial insights into the health and performance of the FVR-Mark4 units by monitoring various operational metrics. These reports are essential for troubleshooting and optimizing performance, allowing users to identify and resolve issues before they impact the system's functionality. By tracking data such as CPU usage, RAM capacity, temperature levels, and storage utilization, telemetry reports offer a comprehensive view of how efficiently a system is operating. Below is a breakdown of key telemetry reports and their functions.
Telemetry reporting is available in the Vision portal at https://vision.flashos.com/ once the FVR units have been installed and configured.
CPU Utilization
The CPU Utilization Report is a key tool for support and troubleshooting, helping you detect performance issues related to high CPU usage. It is particularly useful for identifying cases where the CPU is consistently running at or near 100%, which can lead to missing processes or degraded performance. Additionally, this report aids in assessing whether enabling or adjusting specific features or settings is contributing to CPU performance problems.
CPU Core (0-3)
The FVR unit's CPU is divided into four processors (cores). A filter option allows you to view detailed information for each core.
RAM
The RAM (Random Access Memory) report is used to determine if the FVR unit is running low on temporary storage, which could affect its ability to store and access data quickly. More RAM allows for faster access to data, so monitoring this report helps ensure optimal performance.
Temperature
The Operating Temperature report displays the temperature in Celsius, with the device’s acceptable range being -40°C to 70°C (-40°F to 158°F). This graph helps monitor whether the device operates within its specified temperature limits.
Event Counts
The Event Counts report tracks the number of camera captures recorded each hour over the selected date. This report provides a detailed breakdown of capture activity, helping you analyze trends, monitor system performance, and detect anomalies in camera behavior or event frequency throughout the day.
Average FPS
The Average Frame Per Second (FPS) report provides an overview of the frame rate performance of a system or application. It measures how many frames are being processed per second on average,. Monitoring this report helps ensure that the system is delivering optimal analysis and can identify potential performance issues.
SSD Storage Usage
The SSD (Solid-State Drive) is the storage within the device that uses solid-state flash memory to store data. Should the device fall offline, data will be stored locally and offloaded when a connection is re-established.
