VISION PORTAL

The Vision Portal serves as the central hub for managing and reviewing License Plate Recognition (LPR) events, encounter details, and system reports, providing users with a comprehensive platform for monitoring and system management.

Topics Discussed

The Vision portal can be accessed by navigating to https://vision.flashos.com/

Contact Flash Support at support@flashparking.com for access to the Vision portal.

A valid email address is required to access the Vision Portal. Once a user account is created, an invitation email will be sent to the provided email address. For any future password resets, users can simply use the Forgot Password link located on the login page to regain access.

Flash Panel

The Vision portal is accessible through the Flash Panel, which serves as a central hub connecting various Product Admin portals. This streamlined access allows users to efficiently navigate between different Flash products and manage their operations from a unified platform.

Telemetry Tab

Telemetry reports provide crucial insights into the health and performance of the FVR-Mark4 units by monitoring various operational metrics. These reports are essential for troubleshooting and optimizing performance, allowing users to identify and resolve issues before they impact the system's functionality. By tracking data such as CPU usage, RAM capacity, temperature levels, and storage utilization, telemetry reports offer a comprehensive view of how efficiently a system is operating. Below is a breakdown of key telemetry reports and their functions.

View the Telemetry guide for more details on each available report.

Platelists Tab

The Vision plate list management feature helps ensure that the system can automate vehicle access based on predefined lists of license plates. An uploaded plate list ensures that these plates are recognized and granted access to the parking facility. Currently, the Vision portal offers whitelist and hotlist options, registered license plates cannot be denied access under the current setup.

View the Platelist guide for more details.

Plate Replacement

Plate Replacement is used to correct erroneous license plate reads. If a recurring parker’s plate is consistently read incorrectly, contact Flash Support and provide both the incorrect and correct plate information. The support team will then set up the Plate Replacements to ensure accurate future readings.

Plate Replacement lists are located under the Site Configuration tab > Plate Replacement. Once a plate is added, it can be edited by all Vision portal users.
