EXPRESS PAY ENROLLMENT 


How to Enroll in Express Pay at a Parkonect Flex Location


  1. Enter a Flex Mode-enabled parking facility.
  2. Scan the displayed QR Code to open the enrollment process powered by parkwhiz.com
    • QR codes are printed on your parking ticket.
    • QR codes are also displayed on signs in the facility.
  3. Enter your phone number and the SMS code you receive to verify.
    1. First time ParkWhiz user will be prompted to create an account and provide credit card information. 
    2. Returning account holders sign into their ParkWhiz account. 
  4. Provide your vehicle’s license plate number.
    1. (Optional) Select Temporary Vehicle if you don’t want the plate saved to your ParkWhiz account.
  5. (Optional) "Check Enroll this vehicle in auto-pay - Quick entry and exit for future visits".
  6. Tap Start Session to generate your digital parking ticket.


A ParkWhiz account is required. If the user hasn't signed up yet, they'll need to create an account and provide their credit card information. 




Digital Ticket

Once enrolled into Express Pay the driver now has access to a digital ticket for their parking session.

The digital ticket includes the following: 

  • Ticket QR Code
    • QR Code can be used on PARCS peripherals such as a door reader or a self-validator scanner.
  • Entry Date/Time 
  • License Plate
  • Option to Apply Discount
    • If a barcoded validation was provided, tap Apply Discount to scan. 
  • Rate Estimate 




 


At Exit 

On Exit, the enrolled Express Pay user will be automatically vended out by LPR capture and their credit card on file will be charged for their parking duration. 


Auto-Pay Enrolled User 

If the user selected the Auto-Pay option, they will receive an SMS notification of the paid amount and a follow-up message regarding auto-pay enrollment for future visit to Express Pay facilities. An unenroll link is also provided. 



Non-Auto Pay User 

The non-Auto Pay Express Pay user will receive an automatic SMS notification for the amount paid for the single parking session, but will not be receiv




Returning Users (Auto-Pay)


All Express Auto Pay users will be automatically granted access to Flex Mode-enabled parking facilities using License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology. Upon entry, they will receive an SMS welcome message confirming the start of their session, along with a link to their digital ticket.




Can I opt out of Express Pay? 

Yes, if a user enrolled into the Auto-Pay option but does not want to use the automatic payment for future visits, they'll simply select the Unenroll link delivered after initial enrollment. You'll be presented with the option to remove the vehicle from enrollment.
