FIGURE 1.1: HOME PAGE

Your reservation system is as customizable as it is easy to use. It is divided into four main sections:

• The Home Page (see Figure 1.1),
• Tabs showing Parking Products,
• The Info Box, and
• A Check Out Engine.
  
  

For best results, please use different browsers to view and edit your reservation system.

Home Page

Elements on the Home Page (see Figure 1.1) include:

• Header: The header of the page can be a static image (i.e. your company’s logo). If our reservation system is embedded in your existing website, you can use the same header HTML.
• Dashboard: On the top right of the page, you will find a link to the Parkonect Dashboard.
• My Account: If your customers choose to create accounts when purchasing products from your website, they can view their account information here.
• Reserve Parking Now: This is Anytime Parking. Simply enter an arrival and departure time and click to move to the
  payment phase of your order.
• Parking Rate: This is the Internet rate for your garage and is driven by a specific Internet rate table. Define this rate table in the Rates module of the Garages menu

Elements on the tabs showing Parking Products include:

• Anytime Parking: This tab doubles as a link to the Home Page, enabling customers to purchase parking with one click.
  Simply enter arrival and departure times.
• Event Parking: When you post parking products for special events, products will display under this tab (see Figure 1.3).
  Find listed events or search for them in the Event Keywords search bar. This is a “wild card” search function and does not
  need to be exact (i.e. an event named “Bob’s Birthday Party” will appear in search results for “bob” or “party.”). Events may also be hidden and accessible only through the direct link, a feature described in Chapter 3.
• Specials: This tab (see Figure 1.4 on the next page) is where most of your custom parking products will display (i.e. block
  parking/anytime minutes, morning and evening specials, multi-day passes, etc.). You may also search for specials by day and restrict the number of reservations available for purchase.

Info Box

Elements in the Info Box include:

• Map: This tab (see Figure 1.5) is a map showing your location, providing driving directions to your garage and walking
  directions from your garage to a parker’s end destination.

FIGURE 1.6: PHOTOS

• Photos: This tab (see Figure 1.6 on the next page) lets you post photos to help parkers identify your location.

• Instructions: This tab (see Figure 1.7 on the next page) shows a brief list of instructions for parkers, including basic
  information on scanning a reservation and general driving directions from multiple starting points.

• Amenities: This tab (see Figure 1.8 on the next page) shows a customizable list of amenities offered at your location.
