HOW TO SET UP A FUTURE START DATE FOR MONTHLY ACCOUNTS
The Valid From field allows the parking operator to designate a future date for granting parking privileges for Monthly, Membership, and Residential parking. Ideal for high-traffic enterprise and university locations.
How It Works
The future start date is set using the the Valid From field on the Monthly parking account. Once this future start date is set, the account status becomes invalid, preventing the parker from entering the parking facility or using valet services.
1. Log into the Flash Admin portal at portal.flashvalet.com
2. Select the Monthly tab from the left menu > choose location from list.
3. Search for a monthly account to open account settings.
The account will become Valid on the set date and location's operating window time.

Compatible with:
- Monthly accounts (PARCS and Valet)
- Membership accounts
Residential accounts
MultiProfiles
The Valid From date on the Monthly Account takes precedence over any start date from the MultiProfile setup. This means that if the date on the Profile starts before the future start date set on the monthly account, the account will remain invalid until the account's future start date is reached.
Not compatible with:
- Automatic billing.
- Overnight Self-Parking Pass.
- Master accounts (Linked accounts require setting the Valid From field for each account individually).
Notes
- When entering both Valid From and Valid To dates, ensure that they are both future dates.
- The future start date of a Master Account will not apply to the linked accounts.
- If a Valid From date is set (indicating that the account is currently invalid), and the user manually changes the status from Invalid to Valid, the Valid From date will be deleted.
