PROFILES

Profiles are optional for monthly accounts and should only be used to apply limits to the account. Profiles consist of multiple settings follow this guide to learn more about the options and how to create and link Profiles to Monthly Accounts.
Restrictions
Restrictions define when a parker can access a parking facility. The configuration allows an operator to select the days and start and ends time the monthly account holder can park.

2. On the left menu, click Locations, then choose the location.
3. On the top menu, click Restrictions, then click Add New.
4. In the Restriction Name field, enter a name for the restriction.
5. Set an Entry Grace Period and an Exit Grace Period for the restriction, then click Save. The parker’s entry or exit within the grace period is not counted as a violation.

Soft and Hard Restrictions
Soft Restrictions
Monthly profile restrictions by default are set as soft restrictions which allow the monthly parker to enter and exit at any time. If the parker enters or exits the parking facility outside of the set restriction parameters, the violation details are recorded on the Monthly Parker Restriction Violations report.
Hard Restrictions
If Hard Restrictions are enabled, monthly parkers who violate the profile restriction parameters are denied entry access to the parking facility. If the parker exits the parking facility out of the set parameters they are allowed an exit, but the violation is recorded on the Monthly Parker Restriction Violation report.
The Hard Restriction setting is applied at either the location or logical zone level and affects any linked kiosks to the zone. Contact Flash at support@flashparking.com to enable the Hard Restriction option.
