Parkonect: Monthly Neutralizer

Modified on Thu, 7 Nov at 4:17 PM

The neutralizer function allows operators to schedule a mass reset to neutral for all monthly parkers who have access to a particular garage or lot. This function helps avoid passback errors after a scheduled gates-up event. Use the steps below to plan the monthly neutralizer.

The Neutralizer function is an additional feature, to enable it contact Support at support@parkonect.com

How to Schedule a Monthly Neutralizer

1. Log in to the Parkonect admin portal. Select the garage from the main menu on the left.

2. In the Garage Status menu choose Garage Setting.

4. In the drop-down menu, click on Other.

5. Find the Schedule Monthly Neutralizer section. In the Lot dropdown, choose a lot or sub-lot to

neutralize.

6. In the Time dropdown, select a time for the neutralizer to run.

7. Check which days you want the neutralizer to run.

8. Choose one of the methods below.

Neutralize: Sets monthly parkers to a neutral state, where their next action can be recorded as an entry or an exit, avoiding passback errors.

Neutralize + Logout: Sets monthly parkers to a neutral state and logs them out. This sets the

monthly parker occupancy count to zero.

9. Click Add Schedule to save.

Once the Neutralizer Schedule is saved, it cannot be modified. To make any changes, the schedule must be deleted and a new one created.

10. When the schedule is ready to be enabled, check the box labeled “Active”. You can check or uncheck this box as needed to enable or disable the monthly neutralizer.

Related Reports

  • Manual Logins | Logout: An audit report showing all manual gate vends and ticket adjustments to all records. Parkers vended with the monthly neutralizer will appear here with the specifics under the Reason/Comments field.

Notes

  •  When a parker is neutralized, the system will allow an action for entry or exit. This action will sync their parker status to ensure they do not get in a passback situation.
