SSO Enforcement for New Users
Single Sign-On (SSO) is now required for all newly created users on the main site, strengthening authentication for external access.
What’s changed:
- New users: SSO is automatically enabled and cannot be turned off during setup.
- Existing external users: Parkonect Support can update SSO settings as needed.
Expanded License Plate Management Access
More user roles can now add and edit license plates in both Garage Logs and LPR Logs.
Newly supported roles:
- Customer Admin
- Remote User
- Garage Admin
- Parking Manager
Improved License Plate Recognition (LPR) Performance
License plate matching has been optimized to improve speed and accuracy. The system now uses exact-match logic and standardized plate formatting to ensure more reliable results, while continuing to support multiple plates per parker.
Membership Report Access Improvements
Updated membership reports to better align with user permissions.
What’s improved:
- Reports respect assigned access levels.
- Company and Location filters return only relevant results.
Users will only see membership data for the companies and locations they are authorized to access.
Garage Logs Search Improvements
Searching for failed Ten-Key scans in Garage Logs is now more intuitive.
What’s improved:
- The barcode field displays the last four digits of the entered phone number for easier identification.
- Full phone number search remains supported.
- Updated messaging clarifies failed scans:
“Couldn’t recognize phone number entered. Not checked in.”
FIXES
Grace Period Exit Issue Resolved (POS Cashier)
Resolved an issue affecting non-preflight locations where tickets attempting to exit during the grace period could cause the POS cashier screen to become unresponsive. Cashiers can now process transactions smoothly during the grace period.
