Payroc Merchant Gateway support
This firmware version is mandatory to support Payroc as a merchant gateway. Transax/Pineapple reaches end of life on December 31, 2026, on Parkonect, and all locations will migrate to Payroc, the new default gateway. Without this firmware, locations will not be able to process credit card payments.
VP5300 Credit Card reader updates:
- Add support for Discover contactless
Lanes with VP5300 readers now accept Discover contactless (tap) payments. Before this, the reader rejected Discover tap cards even though it was receiving the card data.
FIXES
Offline lanes now prompt faster when a card is inserted incorrectly
Fixed an issue where lanes with VP5300 readers could get stuck on "Please remove card" for about a minute when a card was inserted upside down while the lane was offline. The lane now shows a "Reinsert card correct orientation" error within a few seconds.
