HOW TO ENFORCE LOT FULL SERVICE

Parkonect offers the ability to control the access of transient parkers due to the lot being full and thus not having a space available for them to park. Monthly and third-party parkers would still have access.

Typically this applies to smaller locations that have limited spots available. Often this can be handled more easily by adjusting the Transient Grace Period. If that alone does not meet your needs, you can request the Lot Full Enforcement module by emailing sales@parkonect.com.

There are generally 2 parts to Lot Full Enforcement

1. We recommend installing a sign that displays Open or Full which integrates with our software to auto-adjust based on occupancy, sales@parkonect.com can assist you with this.

2. The software settings will have the lot full enforce enabled and will be based on the stall count and active parkers within the lot. Once the stall count number is met, transient service will automatically be halted and no tickets will dispense until vacancies open up.

When the lot is full you will get notifications via email (if enabled) and you can view the status in the Garage Log:

Once the Lot Full Enforcement Module is enabled, you can manually activate or deactivate it by going to Garage Setting > Garage > Other and checking/unchecking the box for Enforce Lot Full and saving/updating. There you can also select whether to get email notifications and to light the sign that would show the garage to be full.
