User Roles and Permissions

This document shows a list of all the user roles and their capabilities at Flash Central. 



Company-wide permissions

These roles grant permissions to the user at all locations under a company.


Role nameRelevant forDescriptionPermissions
Company AdminOperator ExecCompany Admins have permissions for all locations associated with that company. Company Admins can assign roles below them at any location. Company administrators have access to all Flash operator apps, financials, reports and validations at any location under the company portfolio.

- Read only location and operational level details for given access locations

- Full reporting access

- Limited access to additional services


Super AdminHQ C-levelCompany Super Admins has all permissions including the ability to assign the Company Admins role to other users under the same company.    

- Has Company admin

- Can assign company admin to users under the same company


OwnerProperty ownerCompany Owners can view location level details, pull all reports and access specific additional services such as Flash IQ.    

- Has Location administrator

- Assign company wide access and permissions

- Assign same level role

- Access to all additional services





Location-specific roles

These permissions only work at the selected location.

Fee EditorHQ employeesFee editor has access to manage Fees and Taxes service for their locations and could only view location level details    

- Read only location and operational level details for given access locations

- Access to fee & taxes service

- Does NOT get Report Reader access.


Location ManagerLocation ManagerThe Location Manager role can be assigned to the same user at multiple locations as a regional manager. Location managers can view all logs, pull all reports, add and modify monthly accounts, and access operational settings at their location. Location managers cannot change any location settings, including rate tables.

- Read access to Notifications

- Read access to Locations

- Read access to Fees Parker Sessions

- Read access to Companies

- Limited Read access to Users


Location Admin

- Regional manager

- Small size operator location manager

- HQ employees


The location administrator could be assigned to the same user at multiple locations as a regional administrator. Location administrator can view all logs, pull all reports and edit any location level settings, including monthly accounts and rate tables. Location administrator has control to add team members and edit their role.

- Read access to Companies

- Edit access to Fees Schedule

- Deny Add/Remove CompanyAdmin Role

- Read access to Notifications

- Read access to Locations

– Limited write access to Users

- Deny Add/Remove SuperAdmin Role

- Read access to Fees Parker Sessions

- Read access to Policies

- Limited Read access to Users

- Edit access to Notifications

- Deny Add/Remove Owner Role

- Read access to Roles


Team Member

On-site staff

- Attendant

- Cashier in lane

- Valet supervisor

- Valet captain

- Valet runner


Location Team Members can only view location level details and access specific functionality based on given permissions.    

- Read access to Locations

- Read access to Fees Parker Sessions

- Read access to Companies

- Limited Read access to Users
