CONTROL BY WEB RELAY

Flash's Control By Web portal is used to efficiently manage reversible lanes and/or roll doors using web relays. 

Login and Control

1. Go to https://iiot.controlbyweb.cloud/pages/login

2. Login with assigned username and password.

3. Select Devices.

4. Click Control.

This will open up the control interface in a new browser tab.

Override Control from Web Interface

Use these controls to override the current roll-gate schedule:

• Open: Overrides from closed position holding the roll-gate open, until the next scheduled task.
• Closed: Overrides from open position holding the roll-gate closed, until the next scheduled task.
• Vend: Used to vend the gate (a full Open/Closed cycle) when roll-gate is in closed position.
  • Note: If Vend is used while roll-gate is in the open position, the roll-gate will close and stay closed.
• Entry: Overrides the Reversible Lane from Exit to an Entry, until the next scheduled task.
• Exit: Overrides the Reversible Lane from Entry to an Exit, until the next scheduled task.
  

Manage Automatic Schedule

1. Go to https://iiot.controlbyweb.cloud/pages/login

2. Login with assigned username and password.

3. Select Devices.

4. Click Setup.

5. This will give a popup requiring you to input a secondary username and password.

• Username: manager
• Password: webrelay

Note: Case sensitive, please ensure that you have no capital letters.

6. This will open up the general settings for the device in a new browser tab.

Control/Logic

Select Control/Logic from the left menu to view the currently set schedule for the devices. 

Run Mode:

• Always: Task runs regardless of other scheduled tasks.

• Normal Schedule: Task runs as the typical schedule except when the override schedule is in place.

• Override Schedule: Task runs as based on the override schedule days/dates overriding the normal schedule tasks.

• Off: Task is programmed in the system. However, it is not currently set to run.

Override Schedule:

• Add Override Schedule: Allows you to create override days/dates as needed. Override schedule tasks will be in effect during the override schedule programmed.

Managing Users

1. Go to https://iiot.controlbyweb.cloud/pages/login

2. Login with assigned username and password.

3. Select Users.

• Edit User:
  • Select Pencil Icon.
  • Make desired changes and Submit.

• Delete User:
  • Select Trash Can Icon.
    • A Warning will popup: “This will delete the user 'FPTraining' from the account. Continue?”.
  • Select OK to Delete.

• Create User:
  • Select New User.
    

New User

    1. To Create User: Select New User.

    2. Populate the following information to build the account:

• Username
• First Name
• Last Name
• Email
• New Password
• Confirm Password
• Verify Roles and Permissions

    3. Submit.

Note: Roles and Permissions are set based on the creator's roles and permissions. If you wish to limit the roles and permissions, please reach out to Flash Support.
