Restricting validation prices per Logical Zone (Campus Mode)

If wanting to limit a validation to a specific Logical Zone, the validation price can be configured to only validate prices associated only with a particular Logical Zone. This ensures that the validation is selectively applied to tickets from the designated zone, providing a customized and controlled pricing structure.

Example:

In this scenario, we are working with the Business Tower Garage Logical Zone. This Logical Zone has Business Tower Standard as the default price.

1. Go to https://portal.flashvalet.com and log in to the Admin Portal.

2. Select the Locations tab on the left menu and choose the Location.

3. Select the Prices tab on the top menu and choose the Validation rate.

4. Navigate to the Can Validate Price section and choose the price(s) linked to the Logical Zone you want the validation to apply to. In this instance, we're opting for the Business Tower Standard price.

As a result, this Full Validation will exclusively apply to tickets from the Business Tower Garage that have been assigned the standard rate.

You have the flexibility to choose multiple prices from the same Logical Zone. This feature is not limited to a single price selection. Therefore, if the Logical Zone has multiple scheduled rates or events, you can select and apply all relevant rates for the validation. This ensures that the validation is effectively associated with the chosen rates within the specified Logical Zone

NOTE: If a Rate is deselected from the Can Validate selection, the Flash database will not update. The system will still allow the Validation to be applied to the previously selected rate, so once selected always selected.
