CREATE A HOTEL PARKING PASS

Log into the Hotel Portal

The Hotel receptionist will log into https://secure.parkonect.com/hotelportal/ with the provided username and password. Please note, certain garages have customized landing pages and therefore the URL above may be slightly different.

Search for Active Ticket

In order to issue a hotel pass to a guest, the hotel guest must have entered the parking facility via one of Parkonect’s entry methods:

• Barcode (ticket number)
• Phone Number (mobile number entry or Express Pay user)
• Last Name (credit card entry)
• CC Last 4 (credit card entry)
• License Plate (LPR or Express Pay user)

1. Enter the Transient credential info and click Search. 

2. The system will return all open records in the garage that can be converted to a self-park ticket. 

3. Select the correct ticket by pressing “Go”, as shown below.

The License Plate option enables a hotel pass to be created using the license plate captured at entry, allowing the Hotel Solution to function at hybrid Express Pay locations.

If the guest is enrolled in Express Pay, creating a hotel pass does not convert the transient entry into a hotel ticket. As a result, the guest must cancel the automatically started parking session to prevent unintended parking charges.

If the guest has yet to park in the self-park garage, they will need to return to the garage by pulling a ticket (which will create an open record in Parkonect), park, and return to the hotel reception with the ticket to have it converted to an in/out parking pass. Without the open record in Parkonect, you will not be able to create an in/out pass.

ENTER TRANSIENT CREDENTIAL INFO: Search for Parking Ticket

Select GO next to the corresponding Transient entry

Enter Guest Info 

Required fields:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Room Number
• Check Out Date

The system also asks for a Cell Number and Email. Although these fields are optional, entering this information provides the ability to email and text the hotel pass.

Enter guest information and click submit

Issue a Pass

Select the method of how you want to reissue the pass by clicking the appropriate button:

• Email Barcode
• Text Barcode

 Issue the pass

The guest will now be able to use that pass at the facility for the pre-programmed duration input by your staff.
