Flash Admin Portal: Ticket and Kiosk Customization

TICKET AND KIOSK CUSTOMIZATION


The Flash PARCS system allows for the customization of kiosk screens and printed PARCS tickets and receipts. This article covers the various options and how to enable the feature. 



Ticket Customization

Below are the only sections editable on printed tickets and the associated fields in the Flash Admin portal. 


  • Ticket Logo: This logo can be edited by selecting 
  • Receipt Logo under the Kiosk Logos section.
  • Company Name: Displays the name of the Company.
  • Location Name: Displays the name of the Location.
  • Kiosk Name: Displays the name of the kiosk issuing the ticket.
  • Contact Number: Displays the location's Contact Phone Number.


NOTE: The text automatically scales, with additional text scaling smaller to fit.



Kiosk Screen Customization

Below are the only sections editable on Kiosks.


Ad Logo

Also known as Ad Space, it’s located on the right side of the screen and it’s useful for ad placing because it gets the most screen time when parkers are actually interacting with the kiosk.


Requirements: 

  • 180 W x 640 H pixels
  • File type: PNG




Kiosk Logo

Located on the Main Screen. It’s the same logo that shows on the screensaver. Normally, the Parking Operator company logo would go there.


Requirements:

  • Must work on a black or dark blue background. Logo cannot be brown, blue, black, or any dark color.
  • The image background must be transparent.
  • The ideal file type is PNG.
  • The ideal size is around 1600 W x 500 H pixels to scale properly and prevent stretching or compression.




Title Logo

Typically, this logo is a scaled-down version situated at the top center of the screen, specifically intended for POFs.


Requirements:

  • Must work on a black or dark blue background. Logo cannot be brown, blue, black, or any dark color.
  • The image background must be transparent.
  • The ideal file type is PNG.
  • The ideal size is around 1600 W x 500 H pixels to scale properly and prevent stretching or compression.




Receipt Logo

This logo goes onto the ticket and receipt headers.


Requirements:

  • 1285 W x 230 H pixels (Can also be 1600 W x 500 H for consistency sake with the kiosk logo as well). 
  • The image must work on a white background.
  • File type: PNG



Invoice Logo

This logo image will be shown on the invoices for monthly parking utilizing the Flash legacy monthly billing system.


Requirements:

  • 200 W x 200 H pixels
  • File type: PNG




Monitor Logo

This logo is located at the top right corner of the screen.


Requirements:

  • Must work on a black or dark blue background. The logo cannot be brown, blue, black, or any dark color.
  • File type: PNG




Image Setup

Upload Image


1. In the Admin Portal, log in to the location.


2. Select the Location's Details tab.


3. Scroll down to the Kiosk Logos section.


4. Select Kiosk Logo Type:

  • Ad Logo
  • Kiosk Logo
  • Title Logo
  • Receipt Logo
  • Invoice Logo
  • Monitor Logo


5. Click "Select", choose the image you wish to upload, and then click on "Upload New Ad Logo". The page will automatically reload the file name will not be visible in the Logo for Kiosk drop-down menu.




Enable Image

1. Set the Kiosk Logo Type. 


2. Select the corresponding and previously uploaded image and then click the SAVE button.




Notes

  • Uploaded images are available for use on the location they were uploaded to, and are applied to all PARCS kiosks / printed tickets. We cannot currently display different images on individual PARCS kiosks.
  • Uploading logos/images will apply the changes to all kiosks at the same time.
  • Ticket/Receipt logo should take effect on the next printed item.
  • Every time you select an item from any of the dropdowns, the web page will refresh. This is normal behavior.
  • Any changes to the kiosk logos may take up to 15 minutes to take effect.


If changes are not updating, contact support@flashparking.com to Restart the Kiosk database.
