Coupons

Coupons are also applied or printed from the Validation portal. If set to combinable, multiple coupons (discounts) can be applied to one ticket.

1. Go to https://v.flashvalet.com and log in to the Validation Portal with the Validation Account username and password.

2. If applicable, enter the account PIN.

3. Enter the Ticket Number.

4. Choose a Coupon in the dropdown and click Add Coupon. If coupons are set to combinable, more than one coupon can be added to the ticket.

5. Click Apply Coupons to confirm.

Only Non-burnable Coupons can be applied electronically.

Coupons (Burnable):

Applying a coupon to a ticket will deduct the coupon amount from said ticket. The ticket will keep the same price name assigned initially upon entering the facility.  A burnable coupon is a printed coupon barcode, and once the barcode is used, it cannot be used again.

Non-burnable Coupons:

Non-burnable coupons share the same attributes as burnable coupons, with the key distinction that they do not expire. These coupons can be applied manually at entry kiosks (using PINs) or digitally through a validation portal or app. Printed non-burnable coupons are available upon request.

Flash Valet App

To validate tickets with the Flash Valet app, follow the steps below. The Flash Valet app is only available on iOS devices.

1. Log in to the Flash Valet app with a validator account name and password.

2. Tap Validate Ticket.

3. Enter the Ticket Number and tap the magnifying glass, or tap the blue camera icon in the top right to scan the ticket's barcode. This page times out after 60 seconds.
4. Select the Validation Price, tap Validate Ticket > Yes.
5. Tap Yes on the confirmation prompt.

Prepaid Validation Accounts

Prepaid Validation Accounts work similarly to regular Validation Accounts, but instead of being billed later, funds are pre-loaded into the validation account. When a Prepaid Validator prints a dollar-based validation/coupon barcode or electronically validates a ticket through the Validations Portal or Flash Valet app, the corresponding amount is deducted from their balance.

The Available Balance will be visible in the Validation Portal and/or the Flash Valet app (when logged in as a validator), and appears at the top of the screen.

Prepaid Validators can only validate tickets or print validation barcodes if the account has an available balance. If the balance reaches $0 or the Validation amount exceeds the remaining balance, the user will not be able to electronically validate a ticket or print a dollar-based validation barcode.

Only dollar-based coupons or validations can be used, and the account must have an available balance for their application.

Self-Validation

Our Self-Validation options allow parkers to walk-up and apply a validation without any assistance from an attendant.

Self-Validation Kiosk

Parkers can use the methods below to self-validate at a kiosk.

  • Barcoded Ticket: Scan the ticket barcode at the designated Self-Validation kiosk and the scheduled validation will automatically apply.
  • Credit Card: Swipe the credit card and the scheduled validation will automatically apply.
  • Mobile Number: Follow the steps below.
    1. Tap Other Options > I Entered My Mobile Phone # As My Ticket.
    2. Enter the mobile number used on entry and tap Go. The scheduled validation will automatically apply.

Self-Validation Tablet

Our self-validator product uses a Windows Surface tablet to run our PARCS solution configured for a self-validation kiosk. The user interface functions identically to that of a self-validator kiosk; the only difference is the hardware on which the software runs. Using a tablet allows visitors to validate their tickets without the bulky physical footprint of a kiosk. Often used in lobbies or by front desks, tablets are a convenient and versatile option for guest validation services. The Parkers or attendants can use the methods below to self-validate at a designated validation tablet.

  • Barcoded Ticket: Scan the ticket barcode with the attached scanner on the self-validation tablet and the scheduled validation will automatically apply.
  • Mobile Number: Follow the steps below:
  1. Tap Other Options > I Entered My Mobile Phone # As My Ticket.
  2. Enter the mobile number used on entry and tap Go. The scheduled validation will automatically apply.

Self-Validator Tablet Components

The credit card entry option can be disabled. If enabled, parkers using their credit card as their ticket must obtain a printed barcode validation instead of using the self-validation tablet.
