Parkonect: Event PrePay at Entry mode - Setup for Client

EVENT PREPAY AT ENTRY MODE - SETUP FOR CLIENT

Please note there is a module that needs to be activated, and the parking cashier should be activated too so that barcodes print on the ticket dispensed. All entry terminals need to be power cycled after activation. Contact the onboarding manager/ sales if there are any questions or discrepancies.

Select Garage Name > "Garage Settings" in the Parkonect dashboard.

You'll need to make sure you create the desired rate sheet. Please keep in mind PrePay just charges the first rate band on the rate sheet selected. So if the rate sheet selected shows 0-60min = $1, and 60min to 24 hours = $10, PrePay at Entry will just charge $1. So as best practice to avoid confusion, I just create one flat 24-hour rate.
Select "Garage Rate Calendar" to set up and schedule PrePay at Entry mode
Select "Event Prepay Mode Default" if you want this recurring every week. Select "Event PrePay Mode Exception" if it's just a one-time thing.
Please fill out the highlighted columns and select "Add" to save. You'll then see the event name scheduled on the Calendar shown below.
