FAST SCAN MODE

The Fast Scan feature in the Flash Valet app enables valet attendants to efficiently scan multiple valet tickets in bulk and issue them simultaneously. This feature can be useful in fast-paced environments or during high-volume operations.

How it works

The Fast Scan process works as a simple series of scans. There are three option to scan in multiple tickets:

Sequence of scans

• Ticket Barcode / Ticket Barcode / Ticket Barcode (issues the scanned ticket number with default info)

• Ticket Barcode/VIN Barcode/Ticket Barcode/VIN Barcode/Ticket Barcode/Vin Barcode (issues scanned ticket numbers with corresponding vehicle information.) 

• VIN Barcode/VIN Barcode/VIN Barcode (issues tickets with ticket number based on system sequence and includes corresponding vehicle information .)

Flash Valet App Process

1. Navigate to the Issued screen and scan the barcode for the first ticket.

2. Complete the fields on the next screen presented for the issued ticket and scan the following ticket to issue it. (No need to press Done between scans).  

3. Continue scanning the barcodes to issue the following tickets.

4. Select Done in the top right corner of the Issue Ticket screen to conclude the scanning and review your issued tickets. 

Compatibility

• Fast Scan is not compatible with Ticketless Valet.
